Black Bear Hunting and Salmon Fishing Combo

Matapedia River Lodge offers you black bear hunting in may and june
in a natural wild environment with no hunting pressure located on territories near the lodge.

Our territories:

Exclusive private and baited lots exclusif to the lodge located in zone 1 and 2

American Plan

From may 17th to june 30th

Bow, Crossbow and firearms

5 nights, 2 days of hunting / 2 days of fishing or 4 days of hunting
One fishing and one hunting guide
Hunting on private land zone ( 2)

Extra fees will apply for for non residents licenses*.

Catch and release (CNR) of large salmon is mandatory on the Matapédia river,
it is still possible to keep small salmon (grisle less than 63cm).

FIREARM RENTAL:

If you prefer not to bring you personnal firearms from your country, our guides

can accomodate you with different arms and amunitions at a low cost.

At all time, you must have on you your (Firearm Possesion License) to be able to hunt with either your personnal firearm or a firearm you have rented from a guide.

Taxidermist services and CITES papers :

We strongly recommend that you get your skinn tanned either (wet for taxidermy) and (dry for skin, carpet etc).

This process will guaranty the quality of the skins for a futur taxidermy process.

CITES EXPORT PAPERS:

For all shipping of skins, the folowing informations are mandatory for a safe envoy of skins with all paper work and veterinary certificat to your personnal adress.
